The Epistle Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon

Acclaim:

Early morning fog and warm days give rise to Cabernets renowned for balance and structure in Oakville AVA, and The Epistle is no exception. Produced by the renowned Pine Ridge Vineyards, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec is aged 18 months in new French oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:

It is recommended that this wine is decanted for an hour before serving. Aromas of dried herbs and creme de cassis pair gorgeously with hints of lightly toasted oak. A velvety entry transitions to a smooth midpalate with flavors of black plum, fig, hints of mocha and savory spices. Well-structured and polished, this wine is filled with fine grain tannins that melt into a long finish.

Blend:

89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec

Cellaring:

The Epistle can be enjoyed now, but prolonged cellaring will reward the collector.
