Kistler Vineyards Dutton Ranch Chardonnay Sonoma Coast 2014

Vintage:

2014

Ratings:

92 Points by International Wine Cellar

Acclaim:

Medium yellow. Warm, smoky, soil-inflected nose hints at nut oils, peach and apricot. Voluptuous, fine-grained and seamless, with sweet, lush flavors of nectarine and nut oils. Not yet hugely complex but shows lovely restraint to its sweetness

Tasting Notes:

Wine grapes planted to what was once the premiere apple growing region of western Sonoma County, located in the heart of the Sonoma Coast region. Annually results in a wine of precision, with focused, structural acids layered through a body of delicate orchard fruit tones and overlaid with roasted grain.
