Acclaim:

Great aroma development, phenomenal extraction and unctuous flavors were the result of patience and creativity. The big crop required a great deal of flexibility and ingenuity in the cellar as tank, barrel and cellar space became squeezed toward the end of harvest. But we all endured and made some memorable wines from a spectacular vintage. - Winemaker's Notes

Tasting Notes:

A dark, mysterious wine, Groth 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve possesses superb depth and delineation. Sweet herbs, cedar, tobacco and leather add nuance on a virile, imposing finish supported by beams of tannin. This big, rich Cabernet is going to require at least a few years in the cellar, but it is impressive, even at this early stage.

Cellaring:

Enjoy now or cellar through 2020.
