  This was purchased for a Christmas gift exchange so we had CHRISTMAS 2012 engraved on the box. Everything about it is wonderful - and such a great value for the price. The recipient loved it - and although they thought they might pass it along to someone who loves nutcrackers, their 4 year old was busy cracking nuts by the next morning and loving it too much to see it leave the house.
