My nephew's mother passed away and I wanted to send something that he and his family could look at later in life and remember that it was planted in her memory. I love the idea of planting a tree in someone's memory. They can watch it grow over the years unlike flowers that usually die too fast. It's an awesome tribute for a celebration of a beautiful Life. My nephew was in the process of moving to a new home he and his wife had built so I sent the gift to his past address but the GiftTree company contacted me to say that my gift had been returned to them and I gave them the new address and they shipped it and it was received at their new address within 3 days. I purchased this item for a close friend who has recently lost both her infant daughter and her grandmother within a matter of weeks. I wanted to send her something authentic and something genuine. I bought this for a wonderful women - 1 of my son's teachers last year. This teacher is an angel, she went beyond for my son. I still keep in touch with her and plan to for the rest of my life!
I wanted to give her something that reminded her of my son and the wonderful job she did for him and all of her students before and after.
She loved it! She has it in the planter in class until it gets big enough to re-plant in her yard at her home.

I bought this gift for a good friend who lost her father. Upon receiving it, she told me how much she "absolutely loved it and loved the idea and uniqueness". This is a very nice gift and a great keepsake. I bought this for my brother in law's family when they lost their dad/ grandpa. I thought my nephews would enjoy this the most and would like to remember their grandpa this way. Gift was very well like but when it arrived the pot was shattered in delivery. Customer service fixed this right away when my sis in law called and they sent a replacement right away with no issues. Would buy again despite this issue.
