About The Wine

Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

"Just seventeen miles north of our Beringer Winery in St. Helena sits Knights Valley, a rustic and undeveloped hidden gem of volcanic rock and alluvial soils that are perfect for growing Bordeaux-style wines. For over three decades, Beringer has been producing wines here, and now we're pleased to present this Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, with notes of blackberry, dried herbs, and star anise balanced with distinct, rich tannins." - Winemaker's Notes

Simi Sonoma County Chardonnay

"Brilliant clear straw in color, this glimmering Chardonnay displays tropical aromas of guava, pineapple, bright nectarine, peach, green apple, and citrus delicately spiced with toasty oak. Supremely balanced and well-defined, this refreshing wine's nectarine, peach, and lemon flavors are lifted by notes of orange blossoms and a hint of smoke, adding a toasted warm oak character that reveals itself as sweet vanilla, hazelnut, nutmeg, and smoky bacon, before transcending to a delicate, zesty tangerine finish. Enjoy with homemade tagliatelle with spot prawns and lemon thyme butter sauce, seared scallops with goat cheese and summer truffle ravioli, or baked chicken thigh with saffron garlic sauce." -Winemaker's Notes

Istro North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

Smoked walnut and black cherries on the nose lead to ripe plum and a satin vanilla mouthfeel with a long and subtle finish in this cabernet. Perfect on it's own, or ideally paired with beef burgundy and braised red cabbage.

About The Region

Wines from Napa Valley:

Beringer Knights Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Climate. Soil. Terrain. Situated north of San Francisco and home to 16 nested AVAs, Napa Valley offers diverse and ideal growing conditions. As one of the most mature regions in the US, its vintners have gained a deep understanding of both earth and vine, as evidenced by Napa Valley's distinctive, world-class wines.

Wines from California:

Istro North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

With its long vertical stretch up the western coast, California offers an array of microclimates to growers, each offering characteristics that perfectly pair with the specific demands of their crops. In addition to diverse climates, California terrain offers rolling hills of various soils to further coax the vines into producing distinct, memorable, and nuanced grapes. The seasoned vintners and the ever-emerging new talent of California present a diverse and expansive selection of wines.

Wines from Sonoma County, CA:

Simi Sonoma County Chardonnay

Sonoma County is an important wine-growing region. Divided into three distinct AVA sections: Sonoma Valley, Northern Sonoma, and Sonoma Coast. Each section is divided further into AVA subsections. While perhaps best known for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah varietals, Sonoma County quite capably grows the full range of California grapes.
