My Favorite Gift- Wedding Blessing Box

I have always been a person who loves to give gifts.  I like making people happy and gifts are just the nicest way of saying…..I thought of you today & wanted to make you smile. There are so many new and wonderful gifts on GiftTree.com, I can hardly wait to send the Wedding Blessings Box.  I know a couple who are renewing their vows on their 50th Wedding Anniversary who would love and appreciate this unique gift. With the note cards for well-wishers to sign, this gift becomes an instant...

Need to Relax?

Maybe this is a little too personal, but although I have pretty easy pregnancies, it’s not really my favorite thing in the world. I’m just mildly uncomfortable all the time. So annoying. Anyway, all I really want to do is sit in a hot soothing bathtub with a warm cup of green tea. With that being said, I found an awesome little gift I am going to gift to myself! The Mudlark Aubrey Mug & Spa Set is perfect. I had no idea we had this product! I love it. A candle and soap that smells of eucalyptus and its all natural to boot. Nice! I can always use an over-sized mug too. I suggest you buy it for your next pregnant friend. I promise she will appreciate it...

Hand-Painted Cupcake Booties

Simply put… These things are adorable! They come in a miniature paint can, with a pink bow. They are hand painted. They are tiny. They are awesome! The booties are a brand new addition to our ever growing and evolving array of delightful delights. I suspect they will be a very popular item, judging by all the ‘oohs and ahhs’ in the office here. The presentation is perfect for springtime, in pastel pinks and yellows. The bottoms of the booties are hand-painted with cupcake art and the yellow plaid ribbon laces are fresh and speak of fun days at the park. Lucky for me, I have a niece being born in a just a few days! So, I’ll be placing my order shortly. If I were you, I would start scanning your address book to see whom you could send these adorable booties. Whoever the lucky recipient is, I’m sure they will be delighted and...

Mom’s Traditions

As a fairly new Mom, I try to come up with exciting traditions and projects to do with my 3 year old daughter. When she gets older, I want her to remember all those fun times she had with me, and to really appreciate the little things we do together. Spring is finally here, and she loves to pick flowers. We bought a huge bag of mixed flower seeds to plant just so when they bloom she can pick all she wants! We planted them together in our back yard and each day she runs outside to see if they have grown. I was browsing our site and found the perfect gift for Mother’s Day! The Mother’s Day Cookie Bouquet comes with a dozen of the most delicious cookies from a local bakery, and the cutest little flower pot for Mom’s! How perfect is that? When I was little I used to plant flowers with my Mom too, and it’s just one of those things you really appreciate when you get older, all the fun times you spent together. What traditions do you have with your Mom that you really appreciate...

Notes for Mom

As far as mother’s go, I’m blessed to have mine in my life. While we’ve not always seen eye-to-eye on everything, she’s always encouraged me to make my own path through life and be my own person. She’s always marched to the beat of her own drum, but has made sure she’s been there for my brother and I, no matter what. So, what do you get someone who is honors individuality above all else? You could get her flowers or chocolates, and while I’m sure she would be grateful, that doesn’t do justice to her personality. To reflect on her originality, I’ve decided that the perfect gift for my mom on Mother’s Day is the Jar of Mother’s Day Wishes. Since my mom is a constant source of inspiration for me, this will not only give her inspiration, but also something that will be a daily reminder of what a great Mother she is to...

Easter Nostalgia

Remember Peeps, the ubiquitous Easter treat? This is a silly question which I promptly confirmed by a quick search on Google Images. However, when I was 8, Peeps were pure, culinary genius (so were Pixie Sticks). Not too long ago, I thought it would be great to get Peeps for Easter. They were not the same perfection I had once experienced. Do you know what is just as good as I remember them? Chocolate bunnies with candy eyes. Can I tell you how cute I think the GiftTree Easter Baskets are? They are all in those sweet, sherbet colors of Easter with candy and gifts. They make me squeak with joy when I scroll through. Easter Parade is the gift I’ll send my mom. Sweet Bunny Basket will be coming home with me. All I will have left to do is dye a bunch of eggs (yes, Shawna, I’ll hide them) and Easter will be a complete trip down memory lane with yummy chocolates, jelly beans & lollies. P.S. If you’re wondering what to do with Peeps, Alicia recommends you stick toothpicks in them and microwave on a plate. The Peeps puff up (think reverse shrinky-dinks) and fight each other with their “sword”...
