Meet the Team: Dana Deronjic, Business Account Executive Lead

At GiftTree we strive to make each interaction with our Corporate customers efficient and easy. From our ordering process to the delivery, every touch point that businesses have needs to be streamlined and effortless. One of the key people who helps make that happen is Dana Deronjic, our Lead Business Account Executive. We sat down with Dana recently to gain some insight into what moves her to be such a valuable leader within the GiftTree Business Team and in the company as a whole. Tell us a little bit about where you grew up. I’m originally from Bosnia but emigrated to the states when I was 8. We moved to the great state of Washington and I grew up in the small town of Battle Ground! Being a city girl in a country town was rough. 🙂 Where do your greatest passions lie? My greatest passion is makeup! I love creating new looks. Also I love great food, which helps a lot to work at GiftTree because I get to talk about all of our delicious gourmet gifts! Exploring restaurants and trying new foods from different cultures is a huge passion of mine as well. Where would we most likely find you on the weekends? At the movies! I go to the movies almost every weekend. It’s such a great place to relax and get sucked in to other worlds and stories unfolding. What brought you to the Business Account Executive Team at GiftTree? Tell us about your professional adventures.  I come from a sales background – even as a kid, I was selling lemonade or my parents’ stuff out...
2019 Holiday Collection Sneak Peek

2019 Holiday Collection Sneak Peek

As we near the Fall season, it’s time for most businesses to start thinking about their holiday business gifts. Have you and your company made your plan yet? It can feel overwhelming – trying to remember so many important clients to thank, employees and vendors. If you haven’t gotten your list together yet, here are some tips to develop your holiday gifting game plan. How To Develop Your Holiday Gifting Strategy   STEP ONE: Make Your List Consider your most important clients, customers and business partners first. Then move onto your employees, followed by your list of vendors. You can decide how deep you want to go into gift-giving this year! STEP TWO: Segment the List into Tiers To make sure that the gift you send to a recipient also sends the right message, it’s important to consider the value of the relationship you have with them. For example, the top client who has given your company a lot of business this year and the vendor who delivers bottled water every week (while that is valuable – stay hydrated!) would not get the same gift. STEP THREE: Determine Your Gifting Budget For Each Tier Based on your holiday business gifting budget that’s been set for the year, you will want to determine how much you’re going to spend on each individual gift in that tier. There is no wrong or right answer here! Based on your company’s yearly gifting plan, decide the price point parameters you’re going to adhere to for each tier. Now that you’ve got your plan in place, here’s a helpful article about three more strategies that...
