Acclaim:

Les Pavots is Peter Michael's flagship blend of red Bordeaux varietals from the steep hillsides of their Knights Valley Estate. This limited production wine captures an elegant, refined expression of the terroir, and embraces the full spectrum of Cabernet family. The name translates to "The Poppies" and is named after the California poppies that grow wild on the estate.

Tasting Notes:

Very full-bodied, concentrated yet graceful, the wine offers rich, ripe fruit impressions on the palate, along with spice and black truffle. The mouthfeel is massive and round with silky tannins and hints of mocha leading to a very long finish.

Blend:

77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 8% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot.

Cellaring:

Will benefit from three years of cellaring and age gracefully for two decades or more.
