All Hundred Acre wines are made by sorting the fruit berry by berry, fermenting in small French oak fermenters, and aging them carefully in the finest barriques. The secret to Hundred Acre is no compromise and no detail overlooked, ever.

Tasting Notes:

"The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Few and Far Between has a minerality that is also found in the Howell Mountain cuvee as well as deep, luxurious, beautiful black currant and blackberry fruit intermixed with hints of jammy black cherries, licorice, camphor and charcoal embers. Exceptionally full-bodied with sweet tannin, surreal richness and remarkable purity as well as delineation, this pushes ripeness and intensity to nearly over-the-top levels, but it pulls back to simply create a wine of genius." -The Wine Advocate

Cellaring:

This 2010 should age effortlessly for two to three decades, but there is no reason to delay your enjoyment.

French for "joy," La Joie emphasizes Cabernet Sauvignon and beautifully represents a Pauillac-style wine. Each vintage is an amalgam of distinct components harvested from small vineyard blocks in the southern tip of Sonoma County's Alexander Valley, resulting in a carefully considered convergence of grape varieties, climate, soil exposition, and winemaking technique.

Tasting Notes:

This wonderfully deep and concentrated wine is very well balanced with notes of black currants, black cherries, and red berries paired with an integrated soft oak component. It possesses a rich, full-bodied personality with mouth-filling levels of tannin, extract, and fruit. Vibrant and impressive.

Blend:

64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec.

Cellaring:

The bouquet and the palate of this wine will continue to evolve and age for years to come with anticipated maturity in 2014 to 2045.
