Acclaim:

Groth, a classic Napa Valley estate with core vineyards in Oakville, is known for its commitment to producing the highest quality Cabernet Sauvignons. In special years the winery will make a Reserve bottling of Cabernet from a small lot in their 121 acre Oakville Estate. This limited production Reserve is a favorite of die-hard Cabernet fans and is consistently rated in the 90s year after year.

Tasting Notes:

The 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon is big and lush with huge gobs of fruit in the aroma and flavor. The texture of the wine is soft and supple, typical of Cabernet Sauvignons grown in our area of the Oakville AVA.
