The flagship wine of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Insignia is recognized as one of California's most celebrated Cabernet-based blends, as well as one of the world's great collectible wines. Since its launch in 1974, over thirty vintages have been rated 90 or more points by various wine publications.
Tasting Notes:
Deeply colored, concentrated and layered, with floral, anise, black cherry, and graphite aromas, Insignia is classically structured with excellent acidity, well-balanced tannins, and a mouth-coating, persistent finish. Medium to full-bodied and elegant, with a European style imposed on the rich, velvety, California fruit, this coveted cuvee is an inimitable pleasure to experience.

92% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Petit Verdot, and 1% Merlot
Cellaring:
Accessible now for its richness, this wine will yield more complex pleasures with 10 years of age and last up to 30.

Situated high atop the cool Santa Cruz Mountains, the Monte Bello estate excels in producing Bordeaux varietals from low-yielding vines. The Monte Bello is a famous and prestigious wine in California and worldwide, and is considered to be on of California's finest blends.
Tasting Notes:
On the quiet side of intense, this vintage of Monte Bello is austere, delivering its fruit like a cool rain of berries. Firm, mineral-driven dark fruit flavors give way to a complex mix of ripe mountain bramble, cassis, dark chocolate, licorice, and exotic spice. The wine is full-bodied, with elegant silky tannins, sensuous balance, and integrated oak.

68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, and 2% Cabernet Franc.
Cellaring:
