    The set includes a hand-tuned 6" singing bowl made with a special bell metal alloy that produces a powerful harmonic resonance when played. The pure sounds produced when the rim is rubbed by the wood mallet are said to put the brain into a meditative state. This beautiful bowl arrives rested on a 7" brocade cushion.

    We also include a Golden Bodhi Incense Box to provide deeper relaxation. The keepsake box is decorated with sustainably harvested lokta paper and contains hand-rolled sandalwood incense and a ceramic incense burner shaped like a bodhi leaf. Hand-crafted in Nepal.

        I was very pleased with the Singing Bowl when I received it today. The sound is very pleasing to ear when tapped with the wooden striker and when you make it sing as you would a crystal wine glass. The pillow is beautiful and incense a pleasure for the senses. I placed the striker into a small zip lock bag with oil for several hours and it enhanced the sound upon the circle motion when making it sing. It will take some time for the bowl to age and really bring out its true beautiful sounds. The new bowl, and the way it was machined, the sound it makes is inspiring. Many thanks for a wonderful surprising find on line.
