    Wealth is often symbolized by a special coin, originally made in the 4th century B.C. The circle signifies heaven, and the internal square represents earth.

    The gourd is a symbol for good luck because it is believed to ward off evil spirits.

    Double happiness, the desire for a happy and harmonious love relationship, is often represented by a pair of mandarin ducks because they mate for life.
