Opus One Napa Valley 2003 - In the classic Opus style, the 2004 offers slightly smoky and darkly fruity scents, with black plum, dark cherry, bullion, baking spice, vanilla, and a hint of lavender all contributing to the aromatic depth. It is as richly oaky-toasty on the palace, but the fruit swings toward red plum and cherry, and the bullion and toast notes recede a bit. The finish lingers well with ample time to relish the oaky and savory elements.

Sokol Blosser 2006 - An extremely concentrated Pinot that is still soft, supple, and delicate with black cherry and berry fruit, mocha, and distinctive Oregon forest-floor earthiness. The wine is drinking beautifully now and should develop complexity in the bottle for the next five to ten years.

Rodney Strong Chalk Hill Chardonnay 2006 - Creamy and crisp with abundant fruit character, mineral, and toasty oak flavors, this elegant Chardonnay offers a plush mouthfeel and layered, lingering finish. A compelling and thoroughly satisfying experience for true Chardonnay lovers.
