    A wicker basket is filled with fresh fruits such as apples, pears, and oranges, as well as favorite foods such as cheese, crackers, coffee, chocolate, and more. The basket will be hand-delivered to the home or funeral parlor.

    With Sympathy Fruit and Gourmet Basket is a hand delivered gift. These gifts are delivered by one of our local design centers located throughout the United States and Canada.

    Typically, standard deliveries are made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with business deliveries before 5:00 PM. Hours may be extended during holidays. Please note in some locations we may need an additional 24 hours for the delivery of exotic flowers, wine and fruit baskets.

      A Beautiful Expression of Shared Sympathy March 19, 2012

      This beautiful basket of fruits and other gourmet goodies was delivered same day - very soon after I ordered it from a town on Long Island, NY, to a small community in Michigan. The computer did it all and did it so well! The mourners who received it took the time to call me and express their delight with this lovely basket. It was generously filled and very much appreciated. I have used GiftTree before; it is a classy, consistent and excellent service. Thanks GiftTree. By the way, I rated you excellent, but the computer would not register it (above my comment).

      This basket was ordered @ 11AM, and delivered by the end of the business day on the same day. It had very fresh fruit and it was very much appreciated by the recipients. Even though it was sent very fast, it didn't look "rushed"...very, VERY happy with our purchase.

      I've sent this gift 3 times in the last 2 years and it has always been appreciated. The fruit was perfect and the other goodies- cheese, crackers, coffee- were exactly what my relatives needed at a time when they weren't up to eating meals.

      I got the most wonderful feedback from the person I sent the basket to. He could'nt get over how beautiful, wonderful and thoughtful it was, It was a funeral basket.

      I wanted it to be something different than the usual flowers sent to the funeral home. I wanted it to be for the person that I knew and respected and felt grief for.
