• A gift of fresh fruit and gourmet snacks is a traditional way to let recipients know they are in your thoughts during a time of bereavement.

  A traditional wicker basket is filled with seasonal fruits such as pears, apples, and oranges, as well as favorite comfort foods such as coffee, chocolate, cheese, crackers, and more. The basket will be hand-delivered to the home or funeral parlor.

  Deepest Sympathy Fruit and Gourmet Basket is a hand delivered gift. These gifts are delivered by one of our local design centers located throughout the United States and Canada.

  Typically, standard deliveries are made between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with business deliveries before 5:00 PM. Hours may be extended during holidays. Please note in some locations we may need an additional 24 hours for the delivery of exotic flowers, wine and fruit baskets.

  Same day delivery is available for most gifts when ordered before the cutoff time. The cutoff time for Deepest Sympathy Fruit and Gourmet Basket is 1 PM in the recipient's time zone.

    First time buyer; very impressed May 2, 2013

    I have never used this website before so I was a bit nervous. I didn't see the final product in person, but I heard from several people that it was beautiful. I even received a call from the delivery person to let me know where they were leaving the package because no one was home when delivery was being made. I will definitely order from these good folks again in the future.

    I sent this basket to one of my Mom's fiiends whose son died. She couldn't stop talking about the basket (its presentation). She said everything you could think of was in the basket. I have told friends of mine, if unfortunately you need to send something for a funeral -send a sympathy fruit and gourmet basket from Gifttree.com. I would definitey recommend this basket.

    Gift Tree customer service rep was great, he was very sensitive to my needs, this gift was for an employee who had a tragic death in the family out of state. The rep took his time to help me find the perfect and appropriate gift. I just got word back from our employee that the basket was delivered the same day I ordered it, and it was an amazing gift. I wish I wrote the reps name down, he really went above and beyond to help with a difficult task. Thank you!

    Everything was beautiful about this sympathy fruit basket... for this unhappy evening this basket was a topic of conversation. From NY i called with about 4 hours till the wake...There was not to be a second day... not even a burial so no one was to be there after 9PM... But you got it there on time and I thank you so much.

    Beautiful Presentation March 13, 2013

    I ordered the sympathy fruit and gourmet basket on March 7, 2013 for my god grandmother's funeral which was held in Roanoke Rapids, NC. I called gift tree and spoke with one of the nicest customer service representatives(I wish I could remember her name) and she was very patient with me and I did not feel rushed at all. I was concerned about how the assortment was going to look, the fruit being fresh,and the arrival time. I spoke with my godmother the same afternoon and the basket arrived the same day WOW! I was very surprised because it wasn't supposed to be delivered until the next day(3/8)'. My godmother said the fruit basket was beautiful and she really loved how it was decorated. The basket was brown with a big pretty purple bow filled with an assortment of FRESH fruits such as pears,apples,grapes,oranges,jelly,chocolate,crackers,nuts,etc..Everyone enjoyed the fruit and there was plenty to go around. I Will definitely use Gift Tree again! God bless u guys

    GiftTree and Evelyn and the local vendors made this happen. A friend lost a mother suddenly and I received the address for the ceremony on a Friday, yet this basket was able to arrive to the home by Sunday and meant a great deal to the family, provided some comfort during a very difficult time.     I am so grateful to Gift tree for making this happen, in particular Evelyn who involved herself in the process. A close friend lost his mom and I received the address for the Sunday funeral on a Friday evening, Gift tree, Evelyn and the local vendor conspired to bring my friend and his sister a beautiful and much appreciated basket, on time.     This is a great service. My friend said the basket was beautiful and she enjoyed being able to have a snake while taking care of funeral and family.

    A Beautiful Expression of Shared Sympathy March 19, 2012

    This beautiful basket of fruits and other gourmet goodies was delivered same day - very soon after I ordered it from a town on Long Island, NY, to a small community in Michigan. The computer did it all and did it so well! The mourners who received it took the time to call me and express their delight with this lovely basket. It was generously filled and very much appreciated. I have used GiftTree before; it is a classy, consistent and excellent service. Thanks GiftTree.     This basket was ordered @ 11AM, and delivered by the end of the business day on the same day. It had very fresh fruit and it was very much appreciated by the recipients. Even though it was sent very fast, it didn't look "rushed"...very, VERY happy with our purchase.

    I got the most wonderful feedback from the person I sent the basket to. He could'nt get over how beautiful, wonderful and thoughtful it was, It was a funeral basket.
    
    I wanted it to be something different than the usual flowers sent to the funeral home. I wanted it to be for the person that I knew and respected and felt grief for.
