Washington State's Columbia Valley wineries are renowned for their excellent red wines. Avery Lane produces excellent wines that reflect this spectacular growing region. The Avery Lane Shiraz is a rich, complex red with spicy berry flavors. Silver Lake is one of the largest, most prestigious vineyards in Washington. This Silver Lake Merlot is a lush, full-bodied wine with round cherry and plum flavors and a subtle finish.

Wine arrives in two wooden crates engraved with a vineyard motif. Each box measures 5x5x14. Total weight is 10 lbs.

Avery Lane Columbia Valley Shiraz 2003: Deep ruby in color, this remarkable vintage opens pleasantly with aromas of black cherry and leather. The palette is filled with ripe, red fruits with hints of black pepper, followed by a long finish. Pairs well with grilled red meats, wild game, and chocolate mousse.

Silver Lake Merlot: Vibrant flavors of blackberry, pepper, and blueberry jam with hints of honey and vanilla on the finish. An easy-drinking wine that pairs well with steak dishes with dark, flavorful sauces as well as hearty winter soups.
