      Didn't see or taste for myself. Was a gift for my mother. She raved about how beautiful the boxes were. She didn't comment on the taste of the items. She loves boxes and Fluer de lis so the boxes themselves were a great gift. Filled with little surprises was an added bonus.

      Since I live 350 miles from my Mom, I had to take her word for it, but she was very pleased with the gift. She said it was "Very Pretty" and she liked the assortment of items, especially the dried fruit.

      I've purchased this as valentine's day gifts to friends just to show my love & apprecation for them. they've expressed how excellent it was to have something different in each box & what a surprise it was. the treats are delicious (as i'm reviewing this on behalf of the receiver & not from my personal experience) this is just what i was told. But they seem very happy with the gift so i'd definitely recommend it to others.

      I sent this gift to my daughter in college on Mardi Gras day and she was overwhelmed. She told me she cried because it was beautiful and it made her think about being home with our family in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. And that to me is PRICELESS.

      I had ordered two to delivered at two different locations. They were due to arrive on Monday but to my surprise both were delivered on that Saturday before. Plus I was given updates by email, that was nice. One family just loved the treats plus the decorative boxes look great. There was something for everyone.
