Returns

Fresh Products: (Flowers, Fruit, Plants, Balloons, Trees and fresh food gift baskets) Perishable and fragile products cannot be returned. These products are covered by The GiftTree Guarantee and will be replaced if they arrive damaged.

Non-perishable items should be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original packaging, after contacting our customer service department and sent to our product return mailing address.

Flower Substitutions

We make every effort to ensure that flowers we feature on our pages are in season and available. In some areas with a shorter growing season, this is not possible. In rural areas of the United States, and in other countries, particular flowers (such as exotic or tropical varieties) may not be available at any time. GiftTree reserves the right to substitute flowers of like color, appearance, and value.

Because of the popularity of some floral arrangements, GiftTree must also reserve the right to substitute pictured vases and other decorative containers with others of like shape, color, value, and style. In the case of our not having a colored vase available, we will most often substitute with a clear glass vase, adding a bow to represent the color of the pictured vase.

Delivery and Shipping Policies

If you order a gift that is being shipped via FedEx or UPS, please be aware that Standard Ground Delivery provides an estimated delivery date - the delivery date provided is not a guaranteed delivery date.

Fresh Products (Flowers, Fruit, Plants, Balloons, Trees and fresh food gift baskets): Our fresh gifts are hand delivered by a local Gift Services Design Center and not shipped from our warehouse. In some cases, your gift can be delivered on the same day as your order such as flowers. However, in some locations, we may need 24 hours to fulfill your product request for gifts such as exotic flowers, fruit and gourmet baskets. Sunday delivery is not available in all areas. Delivery to rural areas may not be possible at any time. We do not deliver these gifts to post office boxes. Most importantly, without a phone number and a full address such as a hospital room number, apartment number, floor level, etc., your order will either be delayed or may cause non-delivery.

If there is no one there to receive delivery, our courier will make any decisions concerning the safety of the location to leave the arrangement or will attempt delivery at a later time.

Funeral Flowers: Funeral orders are very time sensitive. In order to avoid confusion of delivery and a timely delivery, your order must include the name of the deceased and the name of the funeral home. It is best to list the phone number of funeral home and the time of the service to expedite the scheduling process. You will be notified if any issues arise concerning the delivery of your order.
