World Smile Day
Did you know that this Friday the 7th is going to be World’s Smile Day? I didn’t know that until I looked at an even calendar and discovered it. Of course being the curious Luba as I am, I had to find more about it and share it with you.
This holiday was founded in 1999 by Harvey Ball (founder of smiley faces). This day is marked on first Friday of October. His idea was to dedicate one day a year to many smiles and kind acts, no matter what your race, religion or believes are. He wanted one day to be dedicate to smiles. Imagine what it would be like if one day you woke up and everyone smiles to you on your way to work, everyone at work smiles and everyone elsewhere are smiling! I think that would be heaven on earth if everyone participated in it. I am a cheerful person in general and smiling comes natural to me. Maybe I can spread the cheer and share that with others by sending the Be Happy Bouquet to remind them to smile.
Will you participate with me and share your beautiful smile with the rest of the world on Friday?

Smiling is great! So is laughter, don’t hesitate to smile even when it’s not official World Smile day! It will make your day better and hopefully other people’s day too.

If your in a bad mood, make yourself smile. The muscle memories will trick your brain into thinking you are happy, and in turn happiness will follow. – Fake it till you make it!

I would love to wake up and see everybody smiles at me. I miss the day but I will participate and smile at everyone tomorrow, and I will remember it for the next year.
