Wild Daisies
I’ll start off plain and simple. My favorite flower is the Wild Daisy. Many people consider them weeds but to me they are just the most amazing flower there is. I don’t know why, but maybe it’s because where I grew up there were fields full of daises everywhere. Or maybe it’s because they are so simple and pretty. I remember making flower crowns out of daises with my best friend when I was little. We would put them on each other’s heads and wear them all day long until they just fell apart. The daisy reminds me of simpler times I think, and up to this day the daisy is still my favorite flower. It brings back many great childhood memories!

I would have to agree with Luba, daisies are one of my favorite flowers also, and do remind me of happy “back in the day” memories. The Daisy Bowl is one of my favorite flower arrangements.

I rememeber when my sisters and I along with my friends would hang out in the fields like that also. We would make necklaces and bracelets for one another but never thought of a crown. I agree, daisy is not a weed but a beautiful flower and it brings back the childhood memories. ;D

My mom and I have always been very partial to daisies – they are a great way to bring sunshine indoors. I look for any excuse to send them to my mom. As Meg Ryan said in “You’ve Got Mail”, they are such a happy flower!
