What, besides time, can you give to the older relative who always buys what he wants when he wants it?

Answer:
The best thing for anyone who seems to have everything, is a nice frame with a photo of the two of you in it. Pictures are a very sentimental gift, that are often priceless. You might have to carry your camera to the next few family functions, but it will be worth it!
