Remembering Birthdays
When I was younger, my grandparents used to send me a card every year for my birthday. It was usually a homemade card and $20 or so to spend on something for myself. I am not sure how she, or anyone for that matter, remembers birthdays without help. I have never been able to successfully manage a personal planner or keep track of occasions using a wall calendar. I have high hopes when I purchase a planner or calendar but I always forget to check it regularly and end up missing birthdays.
If you haven’t discovered GiftTree’s Occasion Reminder service yet, I bet you have forgotten a few birthdays too. When you visit GiftTree’s website you have the ability to establish a free account. Once you establish an account you have access to a multitude of Account Member Benefits, including our occasion reminder service. With the occasion reminder service you will be able to set reminders for upcoming events in your life and then 10 days prior to the submitted date GiftTree will send you an email reminder. With an account you will also be able to keep track of which gift you sent, who received it and the date it was sent. You can also track your monthly gift giving expenses. While logged in, you might also want to subscribe to our special offers email so you can receive money saving offers throughout the year.
With this reminder service I won’t be forgetting a birthday any time soon. In fact, I just got a reminder today and I need to order the Birthday Wishes basket…
