GiftTree Supports Local Walk & Knock for Food Banks this Holiday Season
Guest Blogger: Amy H.
For 23 years, the Walk & Knock Food Drive in Clark County, Washington has been bringing the community together and providing aid to food banks in the Vancouver area. With the help of thousands of volunteers, people go walking and knocking on doors to collect donations of non-perishable foods, supplies and money toward providing for those in need. This year, GiftTree is a proud sponsor of the Walk & Knock Food Drive endeavor. Volunteering efforts to increase the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) abilities of their website will hopefully increase awareness and traffic to WalkAndKnock.org, as well as make it easier for interested residents to volunteer. GiftTree is also assisting with the design and printing of the Walk & Knock grocery bags, which are distributed around the community for residents to fill with food and then place on their doorsteps. Then, on Saturday, December 6th, volunteers go door-to-door to collect these bags and eventually distribute them among many local food banks.
