Gifts for the Road to Recovery

According to CNN.com, the peak cold and flu season is usually between December and March.  GiftTree has a large assortment of great gifts and gift baskets for anyone not feeling well.  My favorite is the Road to Recovery Spa Gift Basket.  The basket is filled with organic Shea Butter & Jojoba cream, Hop Tea soap, all natural bamboo linens, Earth Gems’ ginger leaf & palmetto bath salts, Republic of Tea fair trade certified teas, Serenity herbal tea, Orange Blossom Honey, bird stationary, and a ceramic mug.  This is a great gift for someone who would like to sit down with a cup of hot tea and write a letter or take a nice relaxing bath.

Another favorite is the Premium Fruit & Snacks Sampler.  This box is filled with Pears, Fuji Apples, and California Navel Oranges.  It also comes with an almond snack and chocolate covered fruit.  I know if I am sick I don’t really want to go to the grocery store.  This would be a great way to make sure the recipient is able to get the vitamins they need to recover quickly.

    2. This would make such a thoughtful gift to send someone who is sick. I know I’d love to receive this if I were feeling ill!
