    Bosses Day is October 16th

There are special people in all of our lives that make a difference in what we do and how we improve our lives. One such person that comes to mind is my boss. Whether it is constructive criticism or patting me on the back when I do a good job, my boss is part of my everyday life like a sibling, a mother or a best friend waiting to help me or telling me to try it on my own, these are the words that make everyone who they are. Over the years I have had some amazing bosses, and I have learned more from them than I have anybody else in my life. They encouraged me to work hard, persevere and not give up when the going gets tough.

Although your boss is not always the first person someone might think of when giving a gift,  he or she is a true person who will most likely make a huge impact on your life. What other person is intricately involved in your day to day, will listen to what you have to say,  and at times just tell you how it is. I personally have found that the people I looked up to and wanted to be most in my life were my bosses and each for very different reasons. They had the strength and the foresight to get things done. And, hey they must know what they are doing… they hired me! :D

So even though gifts are generally sent to parents, siblings and grandparents, it would do us all good to share our appreciation with the one person who can make the changes in you that make you a better person. GiftTree has a great selection Bosses Day gifts to choose from for any type of boss out there!

    1. Every boss that I have had, has molded me into the well rounded employee that I am today. I would like to thank them all. I would like to point out that the “Bosses” we have here at Gifttree are very encouraging, friendly, and personable. I enjoy coming to work on a daily basis because of them all.

    2. “A good boss makes his men realize they have more ability than they think they have, so that they consistently do better work than they thought they could.”

-Charles Erwin Wilson, United States Secretary of Defense from 1953 to 1957

If you’re fortunate enough to have a boss that sees the potential in you and gives you learning opportunities, let them know you appreciate it. Everyone wants to be acknowledged – even bosses!
