All the pain and suffering for me was forgotten the minute I held my new baby for the first time. Now that he's 9 and I hear horror stories about the teen years, I'm more scared then when I was pregnant...

My limbs went to sleep whenever I went to sleep for the first 5 months of my pregnancy, so needless to say I was just about to lose it when I finally moved on the next stage. Bloody noses, swollen feet and hands....and at the time I was a chef so you can only imagine how a hot kitchen felt at 8 months along! But the worse has to be the "chicken skin" I've gotten since Delilah, it's a common skin condition but I never had it before. Pregnancy can be pretty gross :) Good thing my little one is so cute!

My favorite side effects so far ( with only 4 weeks to go.. ) is the trouble sleeping, heartburn and the most uncomfortable swollen feet and ankles. This last one makes it almost impossible to wear shoes. My first trimester wasn't really the morning sickness, it was feeling nauseous all the time. I can't wait for the most precious gift that all this suffering brings...my beautiful baby girl!!
