Let Them Eat Cake

Coming from a large family, there sometimes seems to be an over abundance of stories to tell about my life growing up. Some of my favorite ones though usually involve big family get-togethers or reunions, because there is always some weirdness that goes on when you get the whole clan together! One time there was an uncle who sneezed and his teeth just flew right out of his mouth and into this horrible green jell-o with cottage cheese & pineapple in it. I’ve never eaten that kind of jell-o again in my entire life and probably won’t until the day I die. Then there was the time me & my cousin Audrey were hiding under a table that had all of these cakes on top of it, and she reached up and over to swipe some frosting off the side of one of the cakes but she lost her grip and tipped the entire table over. No one was concerned as to whether we had been hurt or not, but let me tell you right now that spankings were SO totally legal back in those days!
