Does it cost anything to be an affiliate?
NO! There are no fees of any kind to apply or run our affiliate program. You get paid for any sale made when a visitor from your site purchases any of our products. Even if this person doesn't buy immediately, but waits up to 30 days to return to GiftTree and make the purchase, you will still get 12% of the sale! There are no hidden costs to you for joining our affiliate program. It's easy and you can begin earning money today!


Does my web site qualify?
Almost all web sites will qualify to participate, please note content is required, you cannot just redirect to our site. We also ask that you do not submit web sites deemed unsuitable, such as:
        Sites that promote sexually explicit material
        Sites that participate in or promote any illegal activity


Will you help me design my web site?
Even though we can't teach you HTML or build your site for you we will give you many ideas and links to help in our monthly newsletters. We offer easy to use banners and products through our Commission Junction affiliate center. These will help to decorate and enhance your site while you build.


Can nonprofit groups join the program?
Absolutely! We have found some of our most successful affiliates are nonprofit. Nonprofit groups can use this free program for lucrative fundraising while helping their visitors find GiftTree's five star service and great products!


How do I get paid?
Our friends at Commission Junction do all the work for you! They monitor sales and issue you a check for any accumulated amount over $25.00. Even if you don't earn $25 from our site, Commission Junction will aggregate or combine your revenue from other Commission Junction affiliates you have joined! How do I choose what link to put on my web site?
If your web site is subject driven we recommend placing some of our links to specific items. For example, if you have a site about health or motherhood place a graphic of a baby basket. A natural fit! While your site is enhanced with the addition of products, you're helping your visitors with their shopping needs!

If your site is more general, or a mall, we recommend a banner or text link pointing to our homepage. We'll keep you posted on new developments and ideas with our monthly newsletter.


Can I list product prices?
We strongly recommend against listing prices on your site. Changes in product availability and limited time offers can affect our prices. Changes are too frequent for us to update our affiliates promptly. This may become too confusing for our mutual customers.


What's this about preffered partners?
We reward our affiliates. We will often have special promotions, extra commissions and prizes for our affiliates. Our preffered partner program is just one of those. Don't worry, as an active affiliate we will keep you posted about the latest incentives/promotions.


Can I buy through my own site?
Yes. You and anyone you know can purchase via your site. All completed sales will result in commissions for you!
